Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a skilled associate to facilitate material flow, inspect deliveries, and ensure tooling aligns with order specifications. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams to maintain timely and accurate shipments.

The role requires reading factory masters, basic math, and potential lift-truck operation. Experience in corrugated environments is preferred, with emphasis on accurate inspection and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior corrugated industry experience preferred.
• 6 months experience in the Press or Finishing Department preferred.
• Able to read and follow instructions on factory masters.
• Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy.
• Able to apply concepts of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recognize tooling that needs to be repaired, replaced or revised.
• Verify scheduled machine items are present; pull and return other tooling to proper locations.
• Pull a printing plate backlog each shift and inspect/stage as needed.
• Pre/post inspection of cutting dies; tag and move dies per shift.
• Notify tooling coordinator and supervisors about tooling status and repairs.
