• Two-year technical degree in Machine Tool Mechanics and two years of machining experience.
• Welding and CNC instruction experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret tolerances.
• Knowledge of fixed gauges, height gauges, calipers and micrometers.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and prepare quality tools per customer specifications.
• Develop new tools and qualify tooling for shop use and customer needs.
• Perform machining operations and adapt tooling for special requirements.
• Communicate with departments to validate tooling and improve shop performance.
• Fit, assemble, and align components to meet quality standards.
