Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of a certified apprenticeship program or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience as a journeyman toolmaker.
• Must demonstrate expertise at journeyman 'A' level.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and drawings to determine geometry.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools to fabricate tools, dies, and components.
• Use precision instruments to inspect parts and ensure conformance to specs.
• Assemble and repair tooling to ensure proper operation.
• Diagnose and repair damaged tooling to restore operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Certified apprenticeship program or equivalent hands‑on experience

Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience as a journeyman toolmaker
