LayerZero Power Systems is seeking a Test Technician I for the 2nd shift at our Aurora, OH site. You will perform pre-power up inspections, functional tests up to 600VAC, and burn-in to ensure reliability of power distribution equipment.

The role emphasizes documentation, safety, and collaboration with engineers. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in EET or related experience, hands-on test equipment skills, and the ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with electrical test equipment and measurements.
• Ability to read and apply electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and PPE usage.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-power up inspection of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Conduct functional testing up to 600VAC and basic testing.
• Perform burn-in and stress testing to verify performance.
• Assist with troubleshooting power and control circuits up to 600V.
• Document test results and maintain logs.
