LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking a Test Technician I for the 2nd shift at our Aurora, Ohio site. The role involves performing pre-power up inspections, functional testing up to 600 VAC, burn-in and stress testing, and basic troubleshooting of power and control circuits.

You will document results and support device programming and set-up using computer-based tools. Ideal candidates have an associate degree in electrical tech or 2+ years of testing experience, strong documentation skills,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent military electrical training or 2+ years of electrical testing experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Experience with testing equipment up to 600 VAC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-power up inspection and functional testing of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Conduct burn-in and stress testing to verify performance.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC power and control circuits up to 600V.
• Assist with wiring, crimping, and routing of assemblies.
• Set up and program devices using computer-based tools.
• Complete test reports and maintain documentation.
• Follow testing procedures and work instructions.
• Stand for long periods and perform physical tasks as required.
