Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Production Associate for its Irvine, CA facility to support high-volume tamale production. You will package, label, palletize, and prepare finished products for shipment in a cold production environment, strictly following GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and PPE protocols.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25–40 lbs, and reading safety documents in English. Previous food-manufacturing exposure is a plus; shift is 2nd with holiday eves support.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand for long periods and work on your feet for a full shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs continuously, 40 lbs frequently, and exert up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and procedure documents in English.
• Demonstrated ability to follow food safety procedures, including PPE, GMP, HACCP, and SSOP requirements.
• Experience working closely with food manufacturing environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Pack tamales into trays, containers, boxes, or other designated packaging according to production requirements.
• Label finished products accurately and clearly based on established specifications.
• Palletize packaged products for storage and shipment, ensuring proper stacking and organization.
• Stack, wrap, and secure pallets to ensure safe and stable transport.
• Inspect packaging for quality, accuracy, and product integrity, identifying and reporting any issues.
• Move finished goods and packaging materials throughout the facility as needed.
• Supply packaging lines with boxes, labels, and other materials to maintain continuous production flow.
• Store finished products according to food safety guidelines and internal company standards.
• Follow PPE, GMP, HACCP, SSOP, and all food safety procedures at all times.
• Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining attention to detail and consistent product quality.
• Support general production, janitorial, and sanitizing duties as needed to maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work scheduled 2nd shift hours and be available to work holiday eves as required.
