• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must successfully complete respirator certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed
• Must follow safety policies and quality standards

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal and other surfaces for coating, lining, or painting using abrasive blasting and approved methods
• Follow work instructions and quality standards for surface preparation
• Mask and protect parts and surfaces for coatings
• Move and load materials using overhead cranes, forklifts and other equipment
• Inspect prepared surfaces for cleanliness and readiness
• Maintain blasting equipment and clean work areas for safety and efficiency
• Follow safety policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Collaborate with team to meet production goals
• Perform additional duties as assigned
