Job summary

Lineage Logistics Services is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations at our Bedford Park, IL facility. You will lead a team, supervise distribution tasks, and coordinate with Operations leadership to meet service, safety, and productivity standards.

You will manage incoming and outgoing shipments, maintain inventory, plan schedules, and generate reports for plant personnel. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs and flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. and work in cold or hot storage conditions.
• Flexible schedule including weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train direct reports to ensure productivity.
• Manage inbound/outbound shipments and inventory organization.
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources while tracking time/production records.
• Track and report warehouse activities to plant personnel.
• Oversee activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.

Job description

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records
• Track and send reports to designated plant personnel
• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure availability of products

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with machinery and material handling equipment
• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
• Perform assigned projects as instructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud

Pay Range:$60,600.00 - $102,200.00
