Job summary

Vistar is hiring a 2nd shift Stand-up-Reach Truck Forklift Operator in Memphis. The role runs Sunday-Thursday, starting at 12 pm and finishing when the work is completed.

You will operate forklifts, stock storage racks, and maintain GMP and safety standards as part of a busy distribution team. The position emphasizes reliable performance in a multi-temperature environment, with competitive pay and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6+ months warehouse/distribution experience.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly.
• Able to lift 10-35 lbs and up to 60-90 lbs depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments.
• Pass post-offer drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Locate slot on storage racks and set pallets with forklift or hand stack items.
• Count incoming freight in staging area and transport to freezer with forklift/pallet jack.
• Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock according to next day's work orders.
• Rotate stock to the front and remove outdated inventory.
• Disperse over-stocked items to available slots for temporary storage.
• Inspect pallets for damage and move pallets to proper storage area using pallet jack or forklift.
• Follow all safety policies and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Prepare supplies required for operations and perform safety checks on equipment.
• Wear all required PPE and safety gear.
• Meet productivity and accuracy standards per location and guidelines.
• Complete paperwork and inspections at shift end.
