Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Stacker Operator for our Santa Teresa, NM corrugated sheet feeder facility. The role supports safe production, requires operating equipment to spec, and entering data into control systems. You may work the 2nd shift (5:00 p.m.

– 1:00 a.m.) with overtime as needed and possibly transfer to permanent 2nd shift after orientation. The position includes benefits such as medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) with employer match, and vacation time.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial/military environment or completion of post-high school education in a manufacturing- or industrial-focused program.
• Must be willing to work 2nd shift, with overtime as needed.
• Comfortable performing physical tasks and lifting up to twelve hours per day in a loud, industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specifications.
• Monitor and enter production information into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties: preventative maintenance and cleaning.
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear required safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and pulling for up to 12 hours/day.
