Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Stacker Operator at our Santa Teresa, NM corrugated sheet feeder facility. The role offers $20.00 per hour or higher with a $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift, plus medical/dental/vision and 401(k) with employer match and 80 hours of vacation annually.

Responsibilities include operating equipment to standards, monitoring control systems, troubleshooting, and performing basic maintenance and safety duties while supporting a multi-shift operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, agricultural, construction, or military environment or completion of post high school education in a manufacturing/industrial centered program.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets.
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production.
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of work area.
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals.
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment.
• Maintain adherence to safety rules and wear safety equipment.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and pulling for up to 12 hours in a loud, industrial environment.
