Job summary

Crane Currency in Nashua, NH is seeking a Machine Operator on 2nd shift to safely and efficiently operate the slitter and all support processes, ensuring the product meets customer specifications and quality standards while maximizing yields.

You will maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, follow standard operating procedures, set up orders, keep neat records, and work with a team to support safety, training, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Industrial math skills required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity for basic repairs.
• Ability to read, write, and maintain neat, accurate records.
• Ability to learn computer skills to monitor functions.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safe and effective Slitter operation, including monitoring and control of the equipment to maintain conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain efficient operation of equipment to maximize yields and uptime.
• Maintain understanding of all components of the slitter and spooling equipment, with the ability to set up orders and troubleshoot problems.
• Follow SOPs and guidelines for make-ready, troubleshooting, security, record keeping, and quality testing.
• Perform set changes in a timely fashion utilizing a team approach.
