Job summary

Steel Technologies LLC is seeking an Experienced Slitter Operator for the 2nd shift in Blytheville, AR. You will set up and operate a slitter according to customer specifications and work orders, performing regular equipment inspection and dimensional verification.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating a slitter per customer specs and production orders.
• Ability to measure dimensions and verify tolerances.
• Strong safety compliance and PPE adherence.
• Ability to read and reconcile work orders and production instructions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the slitter to customer specs and production orders.
• Inspect equipment regularly and verify gauge, width, hardness, and surface conditions.
• Thread coils and adjust setup to correct defects during slitting.
• Assist maintenance to troubleshoot malfunctions and perform preventive tasks.
• Remove scrap, clean area, and ensure clean work environment.
