Job summary

Neovia Logistics is seeking a Shipping Team Lead for the 2nd shift to oversee daily shipping operations and mentor warehouse associates. You will ensure accurate, timely movement of products and maintain safe, productive workflows.

The role requires hands-on leadership, detailed knowledge of shipping processes, and the ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or a related field.
• Experience leading, training, or coordinating the work of others in a warehouse environment.
• Basic mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret operational documents, work instructions, and shipping records.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations to ensure accuracy, quality, and productivity standards.
• Coordinate the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, shipment destinations, and schedules using various source documents and warehouse management systems.
• Train, mentor, and provide direction to team members on shipping processes, safety procedures, and operational best practices.
• Operate and oversee the use of equipment used for weighing, banding, wrapping, packaging, and shipping products.
• Ensure the safe operation and basic servicing of mechanical, motorized, and electrical warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Monitor workflow, prioritize tasks, and allocate resources to meet shipping deadlines and customer requirements.
• Perform and oversee required shipping documentation, inventory transactions, and other specialized clerical duties.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Identify and resolve operational issues while escalating concerns when necessary.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
