Job summary

Valtir is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Fort Worth, TX facility to oversee the Shipping/Receiving team and daily operations on the 2nd shift. The role requires coordinating inventory, ensuring on-time delivery, and maintaining safety and quality standards in a fast-paced industrial setting.

You will lead a team, manage staffing and training, and collaborates with upper management to optimize processes and resource use while driving performance and timely shipments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years in a manufacturing shipping role.
• At least 3 years of management experience preferred.
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems using technical knowledge and creativity.
• Computer literacy; basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage a team of Shipping and Receiving personnel; include hiring, training and scheduling.
• Oversee inventory and coordinate with inventory management to maintain stock levels.
• Lead the team to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements.
• Monitor productivity and provide performance feedback, mentorship, and disciplinary actions when needed.
• Ensure safety and quality policies are followed at all times.
• Aim to exceed organizational goals through optimal use of personnel and resources.
• Serve as communication liaison between employees and upper management.
• Motivate staff and resolve issues decisively.
• Utilize ERP tools to ensure outbound loads are met timely and items are packed and shipped.
