Job summary

Walmart is hiring for a Full-time 2nd Shift Shipping and Receiving associate at the Central Fill Pharmacy in Litchfield Park, AZ. The role includes processing shipments, inventory control, and ensuring accurate packing of pharmacy products with a 40-hour work week and a 4-day schedule.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a $2.00 second-shift differential. Availability on Sundays is required, and the position emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• 18+ years old.
• 1 year experience in shipping and receiving.
• 1 year experience in inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Maintains sorter operation by removing full totes from the sorter tote location; replenishing empty totes at the sorter locations; scanning tote and location with a hand-held scanner; and rearranging individual units in totes to ensure proper fill rates.
• Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Manages product deliveries by preparing, reviewing, and verifying receiving documentation and reports; processing, counting, separating, and scanning product; operating computer software and basic applications to track and identify product; unloading product from trailer manually or with powered equipment; organizing inventory and transferring them to production stations; and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
• Maintains quality, accuracy, and integrity of inventory and packages by removing damaged or expired product; identifying and resolving discrepancies in records or files; informing management about incorrect or inefficient processes; and providing basic maintenance to equipment.
• Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities; deadlines; and expectations; adapting to change and feedback.
• Ensures accurate packing and shipping of pharmacy products by packing prescriptions; placing the package on a conveyor to deliver it to the sorter; packing temperature sensitive medication; ensuring needed supplies are included in each shipment; stocking workstations; processing and labeling shipments; and completing paperwork for pickup and delivery.
