Job summary

JobTarget, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to stage loads for shipment, receive raw materials, and organize finished goods. The role requires forklift experience, basic computer skills, and adherence to safety practices.

You will handle counting, paperwork, and digital communications with customers, with daily 1p-9p shifts and overtime as needed. Responsibilities include inventory tasks, loading trucks, and maintaining 5S housekeeping.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; automotive experience preferred
• Forklift experience and safe operation are required
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and documentation
• Computer literacy and basic clerical tasks
• Ability to lift and twist during shifts (8–10 hours)
• Willingness to use barcode scanners and printers
• Ability to obtain HILO license

Responsibilities

• Stage loads for shipment.
• Receive raw materials and returnable containers.
• Store finished goods prior to shipment.
• Enter count points and receiving paperwork for inventory control.
• Perform basic computer tasks related to shipment communications with customers.
• Load trucks to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S; support safety initiatives.
• Follow supervision-defined processes and procedures.
• Organize empty containers in storage.
• Print BOLs and send ASNs electronically from the shift.
• Assist with monthly and yearly inventory.
• Haul empty containers outside of facility and keep area clean.

Job description

BACKGROUND REQUIRED:

• Competent reading, writing, math, and problem-solving skills
• Forklift experience in a manufacturing environment putting safety first
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers
• High School Diploma/ GED and automotive experience preferred

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for staging loads for shipment.
• Receiving of raw material and returnable containers.
• Organized storage of finished goods prior to shipment.
• Entry of count point and receiving paperwork for the control of inventory and scheduling.
• Willingness to learn basic computer basic tasks pertaining to the shipment of goods to the customer including electronic communications to customer
• Responsible for loading trucks to meet the customers' requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Housekeeping/5S; ongoing safety initiatives
• Upholding processes and procedures as defined by supervision
• Organization of empty containers in storage
• Ability to use copier/scanner and barcode scanner
• Responsible to take care of components, cardboard, fiber and put in the correct location on the plant floor
• Help with monthly and yearly inventory
• Required to haul empty containers outside of the facility and keep area cleaned
• Ability to print BOLs and send ASNs for each customer electronically from a computer - to be done on each shift daily

40 hours plus overtime as needed
