Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to oversee daily shipping and distribution operations. You will prepare outgoing shipments, coordinate with carriers, maintain documentation accuracy, and support logistics processes across warehouse, production, purchasing, and customer service teams.

The role requires 1–3 years in shipping/logistics, familiarity with ERP/WMS systems, and proficiency with shipping software and carrier portals.

Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, or related field.

Responsibilities

Prepare and process all shipping documentation (BOLs, packing lists, labels, customs forms).
Verify shipping instructions, customer requirements, and delivery deadlines.
Ensure shipments meet compliance, packaging, and quality standards.
Confirm product availability and coordinate with warehouse staff to prepare shipments.
Verify order accuracy before shipment (quantities, product codes, packaging specs).
Monitor and track shipments; communicate delays or issues proactively.
