Job summary

Five Below is seeking a Shipping Lead in Forsyth, GA to lead an assigned team within the Shipping department, communicate daily goals, and coach team members to succeed.

You will troubleshoot operational challenges, monitor workflow, and partner with leaders across departments to keep operations running smoothly. Prior experience leading a team and working with warehouse technology is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience leading a team or group of direct reports.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to coach and direct associates while following company policies and procedures.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience with Manhattan WMS preferred, but not required.
• Experience operating Crown equipment preferred, but not required.

Must-Haves

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work flexible schedules and support alternate shifts as business needs change.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow established work methods.
• Forklift, Pallet Rider, or Manual Pallet Jack experience is helpful.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb stairs and work on elevated platforms.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, including hot summers and cold winters.
• Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods.
