Description
Position Overview:

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for transporting finished goods into the warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory records, and picking orders for customers.


Responsibilities:

  • Operate Forklifts: Drive Aisle Master forklifts to unload items from conveyors.

  • Warehouse Organization: Store finished goods in the warehouse.

  • Inventory Management: Scan and record inventory items accurately.

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick and stage products for customer orders.

  • Load Trucks: Load trucks according to customer specifications.

  • Accurate Reporting: Report items loaded, unloaded, and other relevant details.

  • Protective Measures: Place protective sheets and pads on unit loads as instructed.

  • Label Verification: Ensure product labels are accurate.

  • Documentation: Create computer-generated and manual Bill of Ladings as needed.

  • Quality Checks: Perform regular quality checks.

  • Plant Clean-Up: Maintain cleanliness and order in the plant.

  • Additional Duties: Take on other tasks as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.

  • Endurance: Ability to sit for extended periods on a forklift.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities.

  • Basic Computation Skills: Comfortable with basic math.

  • Mechanical Aptitude: Good understanding of mechanical processes.

  • Multi-Tasking Ability: Capable of handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work 2nd shift (2pm-10pm Monday - Friday) Training on 1st (6am - 2pm Monday - Friday) Up to 120 days of employment.

  • Experience: Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.,
