Job summary

Sonoco Products Company in Hartwell, GA seeks a Set Up Operator for 2nd shift (3:30pm–12:00am, Mon–Fri, with overtime possible on Saturdays). You will operate production equipment safely and follow standard operating procedures to support multiple steps in the manufacturing process.

The role requires strong counting accuracy, quick learning, teamwork, and reliable attendance. Proficiency with ruler/tape measure and use of common shop tools is essential. Competitive pay and benefits are included.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn safety rules and operating procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, bundle and stack fiberboard partitions and check glue.
  • Check the quality of products.
  • Empty trash barrels and scrap buggies; palletize bundles.
  • Operate the shredder and keep area clean and safe.
  • Fill hoppers and keep conveyor feeds stocked.
