Job summary

Edwards is seeking a Senior Technician, Maintenance in California to perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and contribute to GMP/EHS compliance. The role involves handling equipment failures, documenting actions, and supporting process improvements within a cross-functional team.

You will work with electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, ensuring uptime and quality while adhering to EHS and Good Documentation Practices. A valid HS diploma and trade school training are required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent with 3 years related experience; working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, lubrication, pneumatic, boiler, autoclave, and/or HVAC system operations.
• Trade school program in electric, mechanical, and/or electronics, including internship.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly preventive maintenance routines on a wider range of equipment to avoid program down time.
• Check for failures in equipment and perform corrective actions, including impact assessments and related reports.
• Review and follow checklists; record device history and enter information into CMMS.
• Apply knowledge of processes to use machines effectively and devise maintenance improvements.
• Maintain regular attendance and work a full 8 hour shift or longer.
• Collaborate in team meetings and ensure safety and clean work area.
