Job summary

Walden Security seeks armed and unarmed Security Officers to protect client facilities, personnel and visitors with vigilance and customer service. The role emphasizes safety, observation, and clear communication, requiring the ability to stand or walk for extended periods and to respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; security training or certification is a plus.
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain a safe environment.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, incidents, or hazards.
• Enforce company policies including access control and visitor management.
• Provide directions to staff and visitors as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergencies (medical, fire alarms, security breaches).
• Maintain clear records of daily activities and incidents.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify security risks.
