Job summary

Wooded Glen Recovery Center is seeking a Security Guard for second shift to protect clients, staff and property at our Henryville, IN facility. You will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor access, and respond to emergencies while maintaining detailed logs and coordinating with leadership.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in security, corrections, or military; valid driver's license; CPR and de-escalation training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Two or more years' experience in security, corrections or military preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists, directs and monitors all persons entering and leaving the facility property.
• Keeps accurate logbooks and monitors lobby area; conducts sweeps of the facility.
• Inspects identification of persons prior to entering restricted areas.
• Directs emergency personnel and maintains flow of traffic during emergencies.
• Monitors parking areas and detects irregularities to prevent loitering or misconduct.
• Reports suspicious behavior to leadership and coordinates with staff.
