Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; on-the-job training may be required.
• Available after working hours as part of the emergency and disaster team.
• Available for scheduled shift work.
• Prior custodian experience desirable.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and use written instructions.
• Ability to operate custodial equipment and chemicals safely.

Responsibilities

• Assure the safety of children; maintain clean and safe facilities.
• Perform cleaning and sanitizing per handbook and district requirements.
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment; replace lightbulbs as needed.
• Handle waste and recyclables and support energy and recycling programs.
• Respond to disasters and emergencies as needed and communicate results.
