Job summary

Grand Rapids Building Services Inc. (GRBS) is seeking a full-time custodian for Wayland Union Schools in Middleville, MI. The role is 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday–Friday, with 40 hours per week and one weekend per month. Pay rate is $16.00/hour.

You will mop, dust and clean restrooms, remove trash, and perform other cleaning tasks as assigned. Core expectations include consistent attendance, following GRBS processes, mindful communication, and completing duties according to the building map and shift.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with valid ID.
• Leadership experience required.
• Background checks: Michigan public schools restrict theft, violence or drug-related histories.
