Job summary

Bowling Green Middle School is seeking a dependable Custodial Worker for the 2nd shift to maintain a clean and safe learning environment. You will perform routine custodial duties, monitor facilities, and assist with basic maintenance to support daily operations and scheduled activities.

The role requires physical stamina, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff. The position is full-time, with standard weekday hours in the Bowling Green area.

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with staff and students.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and product safety information.
• Able to lift and move materials up to 70 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine custodial duties: cleaning floors, restrooms, windows, and furniture; remove trash and replenish supplies.
• Monitor building conditions and report maintenance concerns and safety hazards.
• Assist with basic building maintenance, minor repairs, and system monitoring per supervisor instructions.
• Prepare facilities for activities and assist with cleanup after events.
