Maola Local Dairies is seeking a Sanitation Worker for the 2nd shift in Newport News, VA. Hours are 12:00pm-8:30pm with overtime, weekends, and holidays required. The role focuses on plant cleanliness, chemical handling, and equipment sanitation to support production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or International Education Equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize general areas using cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Operate electric pallet jacks and baling machines.
• Perform heavy cleaning duties including washing walls, ceilings, floors, drains, pipes, production equipment, and other areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines, equipment, tanks, and designated areas.
• Stock and maintain supplies; fill dispensers as needed.
• Remove trash and debris; ensure cleanliness and safety of the Plant.
• Monitor hazards and notify supervisor of deficiencies; take corrective action as directed.
• Follow GMPs and safety policies; wear PPE.
• May assist with special projects and other duties.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Perform basic math.
