Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Wauconda, Illinois, is hiring a Sanitation Technician for the 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM) to keep offices, labs, and production areas clean and orderly.

You will participate in the company’s recycling program and ensure safe, sanitary facilities across all spaces. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, trash removal, restroom and kitchen maintenance, dusting, and ensuring safety in all tasks.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Trained in GMPs and able to be trained.
• Must be able to follow directions and perform duties with limited supervision.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary.
• Be able to be trained to drive a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors in offices, labs and plant areas.
• Gather and empty trash and recycling bins.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens and fitness room.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures and surfaces.
• Clean windows, partitions, and mirrors; remove snow when required.
• Move heavy furniture and supplies using hand trucks.
• Notify supervisor about major repairs to building systems.
