Job summary

CJ Logistics in Missouri is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment. You will perform scheduled sanitation duties, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards on the 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM).

This on-site role supports workplace safety and operational efficiency in a high-volume distribution center. Typical duties include following sanitation schedules, sweeping, mopping, and restroom upkeep;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Comfort working at elevations up to 25 feet, when required.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Experience using basic tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow established sanitation and cleaning schedules for the logistics center.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and clean designated warehouse and office areas.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and debris in compliance with facility standards.
• Maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee common areas.
• Safely operate sanitation and maintenance equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, trash compactors, EPJ).
• Monitor and replenish sanitation supplies and materials as needed.
• Inspect cleaning tools and equipment for safe operation and report issues promptly.
• Comply with safety standards, HazCom, OSHA and customer requirements.
• Assist with light facility maintenance tasks and report damages or hazards.
