Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Sanitation Associate to maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment, perform scheduled sanitation duties, operate cleaning equipment, and support health and safety standards in a high-volume logistics center.

This role requires following sanitation schedules, managing cleaning tools and supplies, and ensuring common areas are kept clean while adhering to OSHA and HazCom guidelines. On-site 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6:30am-3:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Basic math and reading skills
• Comfort working at elevations up to 25 feet
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Experience using basic tools and equipment

Responsibilities

• Follow established sanitation and cleaning schedules for the logistics center.
• Sweep, mop, dust, and clean designated warehouse and office areas.
• Remove trash, recyclables, and debris in compliance with facility standards.
• Maintain restrooms, breakrooms, and other employee common areas.
• Safely operate sanitation and maintenance equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, trash compactors, EPJ).
• Monitor and replenish sanitation supplies and materials as needed.
• Inspect cleaning tools and equipment for safe operation and report issues promptly.
• Comply with company safety and sanitation standards, including OSHA and customer requirements.
• Properly handle cleaning chemicals and follow HazCom standards.
• Support audits and inspections by ensuring sanitation areas meet compliance expectations.
• Assist with light facility maintenance tasks as directed.
• Report damages, spills, or unsafe conditions to management immediately.
• Support warehouse operations through additional cleaning or maintenance duties during peak periods.
