Job summary

Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Burlington, NC to support workplace safety initiatives and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. The candidate will conduct inspections, trainings, and toolbox talks, investigate incidents, maintain records, and monitor corrective actions to promptly address hazards and safety concerns.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety, safety coordination, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or related field.
• Knowledge of hazard identification and accident prevention.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety compliance requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication; ability to document findings.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operations to ensure employees follow safety procedures and policies.
• Conduct routine safety inspections and identify hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Assist with implementing and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety guidelines.
• Conduct safety orientations, training sessions, and toolbox talks.
• Investigate accidents, injuries, near misses; document findings and recommend actions.
• Maintain safety records, inspection reports, incident reports, and training docs.
• Assist with OSHA regulation compliance and other safety standards.
• Communicate safety concerns and recommendations to supervisors and management.
• Track corrective actions to address hazards promptly.
• Promote employee safety awareness and hazard reporting.
• Support emergency preparedness and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
