METACYCLE LLC is hiring a Recycling Grinder for the 2nd shift in a manufacturing facility. The role involves operating grinding equipment, preparing HDPE plastic materials, and ensuring accurate weighing, labeling, and transfer of material for further processing.

You will support production efficiency, safety, and quality standards while following safety guidelines and using PPE. The job requires physical endurance and the ability to work safely around industrial equipment in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Read, understand, and follow job orders and work instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Previous manufacturing or production experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Grind, wash, dry and warehouse raw material.
• Operate grinders and conveyor systems safely and efficiently.
• Monitor material flow through conveyor and grinder to prevent blockages.
• Troubleshoot equipment per manuals and safety protocols.
• Weigh materials using facility scales.
• Record weights in production logs/reports.
• Label weighed material with weight, date and operator ID.
• Operate forklift safely.
• Follow all safety guidelines for equipment use.
• Wear PPE including gloves, safety goggles, hard hat, and hearing protection.
• Ensure all equipment guards and safety devices are in place and functional.
• Report material inconsistencies or deviations.
