Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Quality Technician I to ensure product quality on the production floor. You will perform audits, operate test equipment, and document quality results while supporting other shifts and cross-functional teams.

You will read blueprints, manage inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement. A High School diploma or GED is required, with 1+ years of quality experience or 3+ years in manufacturing. Milwaukee Tool offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years quality experience or 3+ years manufacturing experience required.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Problem solving, interpersonal skills, and ability to manage interruptions.
• Hands-on skills and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Understanding of metrology fundamentals, GD&T (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits of manufacturing processes to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Operate test lab equipment (tensile/ hardness testers, metallurgical equipment) and metrology tools.
• Use CMM/VMM measuring machines and handheld gauges to support measurements.
• Create Quality System documentation (inspections, NCMRs, quality alerts).
• Complete dimensional inspections of incoming raw materials.
• Navigate document repositories to locate inspection reports and blueprints.
• Support and mentor operators; cross-functional communication across shifts.
• Contribute to gage R&R studies and process improvements.
