Job summary

PPG Industries (UK) Limited is seeking a Quality Technician for the 2nd Shift at their Oak Creek, WI location. Your role will involve performing laboratory tests to ensure the quality of in-process batches, raw materials, and finished products through rigorous quality control and product development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Inspection, test and product evaluation experience.
• General knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma methodologies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify formula and component specifications on batch tickets.
• Set up, adjust, and operate laboratory equipment.
• Test samples of manufactured products for conformity.
