Job summary

Tate Inc. in Red Lion, PA, is seeking a Quality Technician I to support QA through inspections and verification of conformance to specifications, following procedures to identify defects and ensure consistent quality.

You’ll maintain inspection records, assist containment of non-conforming materials, and communicate findings to supervisors to support audits and traceability. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and 0–2 years in quality or manufacturing, with basic measurement tool

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and specifications with guidance
• Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation tracking

Responsibilities

• Own accuracy of inspection activities by following defined procedures and quality standards consistently.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections based on established inspection criteria.
• Verify product dimensions, specifications, and tolerances using standard measurement tools.
• Identify and document defects, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications.
• Record inspection results accurately within quality systems and documentation logs.
• Support containment of non-conforming materials in accordance with procedures.
• Ensure all inspection documentation is complete, accurate, and properly maintained.
• Follow work instructions, quality procedures, and inspection guidelines consistently.
• Assist in maintaining inspection records and quality documentation for audits.
• Communicate inspection findings and quality concerns to supervisors and team members.
• Support traceability requirements by properly labelling and documenting inspected materials.
• Assist with updating forms, logs, and quality tracking systems as required.
