Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering or related technical field required.
• At least 1 year supervisory or team-lead experience.
• 3+ years in quality assurance/control in manufacturing.
• Automotive seating or similar automotive environment preferred.
• Experience with APQP, SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D processes.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, and assign daily work for Quality Inspectors and Technicians.
• Supervise department personnel, including performance management and hiring.
• Support customer satisfaction by applying plant quality-assurance processes.
• Review product-quality concerns and update procedures and instructions.
• Lead 8D problem-solving to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Maintain 8D log and coordinate supplier-related actions.
