Job description

Position: Quality Lot Receiving Inspector

This role is crucial in maintaining high-quality standards while adhering to GAT processes. The inspector is responsible for teardown receiving quality control processes related to aircraft parts, materials, and components. Key duties include inspecting incoming shipments for damage, verifying quantities, ensuring proper documentation, and organizing inventory. This position is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and is a 2nd shift role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and regulatory guidelines as outlined in the Quality and Safety Manuals.
  2. Inspect the physical condition of units received from teardowns or LOT purchases.
  3. Receive units into the ERP system (Quantum).
  4. Follow ATA Spec 300 Packing standards for airline supplies.
  5. Possess or develop knowledge of the Quantum ERP system (preferred).
  6. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  2. Effective communication skills (oral and written), with strong organizational, analytical, and administrative abilities. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic mathematical skills.
  4. Willingness to cross-train in different departments.
