Job summary

ALL SERVICE PLASTIC MOLDING is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector to test in-process samples and finished goods. You will measure parts, document findings, and monitor trend data to drive process improvements.

The role includes maintaining the master part database, inspecting against samples, and ensuring lab equipment is calibrated and organized. The position requires an Associate degree or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year of quality lab experience, strong attention to detail, and good

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training in a quality lab or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced level of attention to detail and accuracy in all work.
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing to a wide range of audiences.

Responsibilities

• Measure parts using fixtures, gauges and scales, and document results on inspection reports.
• Watch and communicate trending data from part inspection to identify process changes over time.
• Establish and maintain master part database.
• Visually inspect parts against master samples.
• Store startup and last shot samples produced from production processes.
• Create and maintain samples with acceptable parts and known deviations.
• Interpret specifications and quality standards to meet customer requirements.

POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for quality assurance testing of in-process samples and finished goods within the scope of the Company Quality Policy. Interacts daily with team members within the quality department and production. Assists in the training and development of inspectors.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Measurement of parts using various fixtures, gages and scales, and documenting findings and results on appropriate inspection reports.• Watch and communicate trending data from part inspection to identify process changes over time.• Establish and maintain master part database.• Visually inspect parts based on master samples.• Store startup and last shot samples produced from production processes.• Creates and maintains sample part to include acceptable parts and known deviations.• Works with all departments to interpret specifications and quality standards to meet all customer requirements• Perform analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods, in a timely manner, to verify conformance to or prescribe appropriate adjustment to product so they meet specifications that have been agreed upon by Company and their customers or suppliers.• Ensure the suitability of laboratory equipment through proper operation, maintenance, calibration, verification and good quality control and assessment activities.• Assists in ensuring the equipment and lab remains clean and organized.• Works effectively in a team-based environment.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
