Meyer Utility Structures is seeking Trainee Inspectors for our Hager City, WI plant. You will receive hands-on and classroom training in visual weld inspection, dimensional inspection, and reading blueprints to ensure conformance.

This role supports our 2nd shift operations as you develop welding and fabrication inspection skills. The program includes paid training, safety compliance, and documentation duties, with a pathway to broader manufacturing inspection responsibilities in a metal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Microsoft Word and Outlook proficiency required.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Preferred: welding/fabrication knowledge or vocational training.
• Experience in industrial shop or metal fabrication is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Attend paid classroom trainings to perform inspections to AWS D1.1 requirements.
• Perform Visual Weld Testing (VT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT).
• Complete paid classroom and on-the-job training for dimensional inspection requirements.
• Receive hands-on training for reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Learn to inspect incoming materials and outgoing products.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate and neatly completed.
• Comply with safety regulations at all times.
