Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Mississippi to safeguard product quality across raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and visual tests, document defects, and support calibration of testing equipment, ensuring adherence to internal and external regulations.

Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to resolve quality concerns and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Welding or Mechanical Technology.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in fabrication and painting processes.
• Certified Welding Inspector (AWS) and ASNT NDT Level II VT preferred.
• Strong understanding of welding procedures and NDT methods.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP ERP experience is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D fabrication drawings and technical data.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on raw materials, fabricated components, and sub-assemblies.
