Job summary

Express Employment is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Quality Inspector in Dunlap, TN for 2nd shift. This hands-on role emphasizes adherence to quality standards on the production floor. You will inspect, document results, and collaborate with production and engineering to resolve issues.

Steel-toed boots are required, and strong attention to detail is essential. Previous QC or manufacturing experience is preferred; read blueprints; use calipers and gauges; contribute to safe, organized

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or quality control preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
• Inspect materials, components, and finished products for defects, damages, and irregularities.
• Conduct visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections using measuring tools.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Report non-conformance or quality issues to management.
• Ensure safety regulations, including wearing steel-toed boots on the floor.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
