Job summary

Altor Solutions seeks an Inspector Packer to perform production, inspection, and packing tasks, reporting to the appropriate supervisor if quality standards are not met. Follow safety, housekeeping, and production guidelines to perform duties efficiently and safely.

The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and adherence to quality reports and packing procedures. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 40 pounds and working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 3–6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and understand basic math.

Responsibilities

• Remove product from conveyor belt and place into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Pack product into drying racks, boxes, or bags.
• Use heavy-duty tape machines to cut tape and wrap product for storage/delivery.
• Lift and move completed boxes or bags to pallets or designated locations.
• Read and follow product descriptions and packing instructions on data sheets.
• Complete Operator Production/Quality Reports and packing reports as required.
• Perform visual inspections or use measuring devices to ensure quality and report discrepancies.
