Job summary

K & N Engineering Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift QA Inspector to audit and monitor quality compliance throughout the manufacturing process.

You will conduct mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections, document findings in the BMS, and ensure traceability of materials and sub-assemblies. Qualifications

• Minimum two years in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Must possess basic writing skills.
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools: calipers, micrometer, angle gauge.
• Competent with K&N’s BMS and Microsoft Office.
• ISO 9001 and QA experience helpful.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with the company QA policies and specifications.
• Conduct inspections on products at all stages of the manufacturing process.
• Document and report inspection findings in the BMS via Task entries.
• Read and interpret specifications and engineering prints.
• Perform product identification and traceability activities as required.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Purchasing and Area Supervisors to resolve inspection issues.
• Document information in databases and internal programs.
• Follow all clean-up, housekeeping, safety and work rules.
