Job summary

Dover Food Retail in Virginia is seeking a Tester for the 2nd shift to conduct testing, labeling, and final inspection of products on an assigned production line. Hours are 3pm-11:30pm or as required.

The role reports to the Production Supervisor, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates need basic math, reading/writing English, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1 - 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• 1 to 2 years of fabrication/machining preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly work in assigned production line.
• Perform any required tests on finished product.
• Register finished product and apply finished goods labels.
• Document electrical reading on UR labels.
• Perform final quality inspection and cleaning of product to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Properly stage finished product for appropriate hand off to next department.
• Document hour-by-hour charts in assigned line.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
