Job summary

Northern Gear & Machining seeks an experienced Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift to collaborate with a team dedicated to customer success. The role focuses on ensuring production quality by validating processes, documenting results, and assisting operators with proper procedures.

Qualifications include 1+ years in quality control in a machined metals environment. The facility offers an air-conditioned shop, full benefits, and a $2 per hour shift premium for 2nd shift hours.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Quality Control function in a machined metals manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct floor audits with production employees to ensure quality compliance and accurate data recording.
• Inspect products using gauges, coordinates measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope, and vision prior to shipment.
• Gage Calibration.
• Inspect incoming raw material.
• Conduct Internal Audits to determine conformance to ISO9001:2015 standards.
• Conduct final/dock audits of product shipping to customers.
• Assist with the implementation of SOP's and JWI's.
• Ensure timeliness on 1st piece inspections.
