Job summary

CesiumAstro is hiring a Quality Control Inspector to support 2nd shift. You will inspect electronic assemblies and high-reliability products in accordance with the CesiumAstro Quality Management System, standards, and regulatory requirements. Thorough documentation and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

The role emphasizes metodical inspection, data analysis, and continuous improvement within a regulated aerospace environment, with a focus on root-cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years relevant experience in a regulated environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute quality control processes per product, operations, and customer requirements.
• Inspect parts, assemblies, and finished products per procedures and drawings.
• Perform measurements using calipers, height gauges, thread gauges, and CMM/VMM.
• Document inspection activities in electronic systems and logs.
• Assist in developing and improving inspection methods and plans.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and 8D corrective actions.
