Job summary

American Fuji Seal NC in Newton, NC is seeking a QC Technician for the 2nd shift (4 PM – 12 AM), Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday, to ensure products meet customer and safety standards. You will perform quality testing, verify products, calibrate machines, and report data from the production floor.

Requirements include a high school diploma, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and a keen eye for detail; experience with a spectrometer or calipers/colors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect production samples from the floor and perform required tests.
• Notify production staff immediately of any out-of-specification conditions.
• Maintain required retains and files in correct order and location.
• Maintain copies/files of test and production data.
• Communicate quality issues with inter/intra-departmental staff and management.
• Assist with maintaining quality of cosmetic, fit, form, and function of WIP and finished goods products.
