Job summary

Chromalloy in Newnan, GA is seeking a Quality Assurance QC Inspector for 2nd shift to verify process adherence and document quality per work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities include dimensional and visual inspections, CMM involvement, preparing C of C, maintaining 5S, and following safety rules. Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs dimensional and visual inspections and generates C of C per work instructions and customer specs.
• May perform chemical testing, assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumble, blending, peen, grit blast, masking/prep, vane install and operate CMM as required.
• Maintains plant safety rules and high quality standards; performs routine preventative maintenance on machines and related labor tasks as needed.
• Prepares quality documents and confirms quality of own work using inspection tools per product specs and drawings.
