Job summary

Kent Quality Foods is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for our Hudsonville facility. You will enforce food safety policies, monitor production, verify specifications, and stop production if issues arise.

You will complete required documentation and communicate concerns to management. The ideal candidate brings at least 3 years in a regulated production environment, knowledge of HACCP, and experience with ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated production or manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of HACCP; certification preferred.
• Respect and adherence for all food safety policies and procedures.
• Experience using an ERP or Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, peers, and other departments; Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all food safety policies and procedures including GMP, SSOP and HACCP.
• Monitor production conditions and verify products meet specifications.
• Stop production when food safety concerns arise or specs are not met.
• Complete required documentation and Redzone checks; communicate issues to management promptly.
